About Dr. Kathleen Linn
    
Dr. Linn went to school at Cornell University and did a small animal rotating internship at Colorado State University.  After that she was in private practice in western New Yark State (Jamestown Veterinary Hospital) for three years before returning to Colorado State for her surgery residency.  After that she did six years at Cornell (orthopedic surgery and teaching), six years at the University of Wisconsin (as an assistan professor of small animal orthopedic surgery) and she's been at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (associate professor of small animal surgery)for almost 5 years.
     Her research interests are treatment of canine hip dysplasia, fracture fixation technique analysis and avian orthopedics.  For fun she flies, jumps out of perfectly good airplanes, backpacks, rock climbs and falls of horses.
About Dr. Matt Johnson
    Dr. Matt Johnson received his DVM degree from the University of Florida.  After a few years in general practice he did a rotating internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists and Surgical Internship at Western Vet Specialists in Calgary.  He is currenlty finishing his residency training in Small Animal Surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and recently obtained his certification in Canine Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee.
